As Austin sees an 11% increase in homelessness during these unprecedented times, we believe in helping to spread safety and necessary care for the homeless community in the central Texas area. Our mission for this fundraiser is to raise at least $2000 to make care packages for the people who need them most. These care packages include food, water, sanitary items, toiletries, and uplifting cards. Most importantly lip balm, hand lotion, socks, gloves, and masks will be most costly so if anyone has extras of what they don’t need or can make masks, donations would be greatly appreciated. I think we can all agree that 2020 & 2021 have been pretty miserable, but coming together as a community in these unfortunate times is very important. We hope to be some sort of light in these dark times. We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible by the end of June and deliver the care packages at the end of July/ early August. When donating there is an option to add a message, in the message you can write out something you would like to be on a card and we can write it for you! We will also be providing thank you gifts for our donators, please fill out the donation gift form if you would like a gift.
