The Boelter Family Fire Relief Fund

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, The Boelter Family - Lisa, Brian, Connor (15), Layla (12), Wyatt (8), & Charlotte (3) and their three pets (Smokey, Angel, & Ziggy) were displaced from their home in Loganville, GA.

Their family home caught on fire Saturday afternoon. Connor (15) and Wyatt (8) were home when the fire began and were heroic and brave in facing the situation. The electrical fire started in Wyatt's room, and he alerted his older brother (Connor), who then lept into action. Having remembered his fire safety lessons, Wyatt closed his bedroom door, Connor called 911, and they both got out of the house with their two dogs (Smokey & Angel) and their Bearded Dragon (Ziggy). The neighborhood came out to help the boys while emergency crews rushed in and got to work to contain the fire quickly. The Loganville Police Department and the Loganville fire department hailed the boys as heroes for their quick actions.

Although the fire was able to be mostly contained to one bedroom, the entire house has been severely damaged by smoke and is deemed uninhabitable for the time being. The Boelter Family have since been able to find some temporary housing while their lives are being sorted out, but they have essentially lost everything in this fire.
