Thank you for taking the time to invest in the Black Freedom Fund. As the mother of a young black man, an artist, an entrepreneur, a coach , and a woman of faith, I have been asked by many allies how they can support black families, businesses and individuals.
Through my non-profit organization INSPIRIT, I have decided to initiate the Black Freedom Fund. The BFF will offer assistance to black artists, families, and entrepreneurs, who due to Covid-19, a lack of resources, canceled work engagements or nominal exposure have been under-resourced.
As the steward of this fund I will keep all donors abreast of our efforts to create and initiate joy in the lives of black people during this time of civil unrest. I believe by acknowledging and supporting the joy of black lives we can solidify our humanity and commit to the practice holistic healing.
