BIG SWIM TO THE ISLE OF MAN 2

Adam Diver will attempt to create a World Record as he takes on the challenge of swimming from mainland UK, over to the Isle of Man.

Due to currents and tides we need to find the right time to go, but it will be completed between may and July this year.

Former Army Captain, Adam, will set off from St Bees, Nr Whitehaven, to swim 32 miles (51km) of the Irish Sea to the famous Island.

Records show that this has been attempted before and even a relay team is recorded to have attempted this feat, (Oxford Languages – FEAT – an achievement that requires great courage, skill or strength.) but have failed in the past due to several reasons. Tides and currents, wildlife (such as lion head jellyfish) and weather.

He will also take his direction of swim from the support kayak, who will be following the baring set by the lead Kayak.

To bring about awareness of Mental Health amongst society in general.

As a former soldier, Adam and his team cross the Irish Sea, we plan to broadcast live when and where possible. We plan to film and record the entire thing and broadcast from this page.

Although this is primarily about awareness, all monies given will be donated directly to Healthier heroes CIC.
