The Bear Project - Book

Hi there, my name is Jody Crossley

I am fundraising to publish my book called The Bear Project. I am a first-time author who has written a book about the grief associated with the loss of a pet. My book is from a personal journey; 4 months ago, I commenced the debilitating journey of grief, I noticed there was a gap in the marketplace for such a book. So I decided to write my own book, this is raw and emotional but is inspiring and will help others deal with the grieving process. Pets make such an impact on our daily life but even more so for those of us who live on their own or have medical conditions. Pets are not just pets to some people but are so much more they become part of the family. I know my Bear became the child I couldn't have, I loved her wholeheartedly. I have a chronic medical condition called Crohn's disease and live on my own; Bear was very intuned with my medical condition, even alerting me when I needed iron infusions. My book is with a consulting company; to say they love what I have done is an understatement. For anyone who contributes to my gofundme you won't be just helping me but 100's of 1000's of people possibly from all over the world who need to gain a level of comfort during the grieving period.
