UPDATE April 12, 2021: Thank you to everyone for raising funds to show the 221B Con Com our appreciation! This campaign has ended now, after a joyous virtual con, and we'll be sending the con com their well-earned drink budget. See everyone in person in 2022!
Do you ever feel like just hugging the 221b con com and buying them a soothing drink?
We spend all year counting down to 221b Con because the atmosphere, and the friends we've met there, make this con feel like home. It's hard not being together this year. But isolation is a bit easier because, as 221b con-goers, we already know how to get support from distant friends.
This year, the con com went through enormous tension before reaching an agreement with the venue to postpone to next year. If you want to say thank you to them for all their work, you can donate to this fund for next year's operating expenses.
We set a goal of $221 for reasons. But the total can be any amount, $1, or none at all. We know a lot of people are struggling right now. The important thing is to send love.
And if you want some or all of your donation to go directly toward buying the con com a drink, that's okay, too! Just write how much in the notes and we'll keep track!
