Moms Medical Fund

Hi everyone, My family and I are putting together a fundraiser for my mom. If you ever had the chance to know her personally, you know that she always gives of herself being as that she was a nurse for 20+ years. These past two years have been extremely challenging medically and financial wise for her and our family. My mom is a type 1 diabetic, during the pandemic whilst she was working and providing for our family. Things started to take a toll on her physical health. She has consistently fought hard through these challenging circumstances while displaying a bright smile and positive attitude. It all started in the month of January, 2020. She developed a bone infection that led to severe mobility issues and being casted for up to two years on both legs , two amputations along with several surgeries and led to her having to get a reconstructive foot surgery. Just recently we almost lost her. Due to all the stress and physical changes this hard time has been taking on her body, she had a heart attack and was in the PCU until she had a cardiac catheter done. She is currently waiting to start cardiac rehab. We just found out that her ankle fusion was not successful. She is need of a new crow boot that is not covered by insurance. Right now my family and I are just looking for anything that can help to get my mom back in a good place and to help cover expenses with medical bills. As being on a fixed income with limited resources. We greatly appreciate any help provided.
