RON TETER'S FIGHT
Donation protected
My name is Benjamin and I am the oldest son of Ron Teter. My father has been battling Renal Cancel since December 20th 2014 and has been a huge fighter since we were given this terrible news. I had started a Fund Me account in 2014 and we were blessed with loving, caring, and very generous donations from amazing friends & family which allowed us to move him, his wife, and his 2 adopted kids back here to Seattle from California where he was trying to get a business off the ground and running which had to come to an end with the move back to WA. We had moved him here so we could get proper treatment for him and so he could be close to his kids, grandchildren, and family while we fight this horrible thing as a family. My father and our family cannot thank everyone enough for the generosity you have shown my Dad and our family.
My father has been through 3 different trial treatments in the past year which have not been effective and things have taken a turn for the worse. Seattle cancer care alliance has done everything they can to help my dad and I cannot thank them enough for giving it their best shot. They now have him set up with Hospice care at home which comes twice per week to check on him, provide him with proper medications, more oxygen and to make sure he’s comfortable. We cannot thank the friends and families who have stopped by and hung out with Ron the past few weeks as he loves company. We have not given up hope and never will as he has been a fighter his entire life and will fight until the fight has been fought. My father is the rock of this family and has always been the best father, grandfather, husband anyone could ever ask for. He has given his shirt off his back to support this family and has kept us all together and inseparable. He is a great host and amazing cook all of which he cannot do anymore as the cancer is taking a toll on his body physically which is making it hard to get up and walk but I can assure you that my dad is staying as positive as one can while he and our family fight this.
My father has never been one to ask for anything but has exhausted funds while not working in the last 1.5 years and raising 2 children. Cole who is 10 years old and Hannah who is 9 years old. My step mother Debbie who is an amazing woman does not work as Cole and Hannah have Autism so she volunteers at the school they attend in Covington, WA so the kids can get the attention they need as every child deserves which she is no longer able to do as we need someone with my dad all the times. Any blessing you can provide our family whether its $5.00 or just prayer, it would mean the world to our family. 100% of what is donated will go to my father which can be used for bills, my step mother commuting back and forth to Covington from Puyallup each morning for the kid’s school, and more importantly my father’s wishes that he has and any expenses which arrive during this tough time. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who has sent their blessing with prayer, dropped dinners by, came and visited with him which he loves a lot. The Teter family thanks you all and god bless you. “TeterStrong”
