As part of its Annual Memorial Day Weekend Charity Classic Baseball Tournament, the Westfield Baseball League is holding a fundraiser for the family of Theresa (Terry) DiFalco. The funds will help offset funeral expenses incurred by her family.
About Terry DiFalco:
Theresa (Terry) DiFalco died March 4th after she was struck by a car while crossing Central Avenue in Westfield. Terry was a freshman at Westfield High School and was very active in the WHS Theater Group.
About the Annual Memorial Day Weekend Charity Classic Baseball Tournament:
For the past 14 years, the Westfield Baseball League has held a Charity Baseball Tournament on Memorial Day weekend at its Gumbert Park Complex. Originally, as a fundraiser for the local Knights of Columbus and then, for the past few years, for various local charities.
This year the WBL will again be donating 100% of the proceeds from the tournament to local charities and families, but is conducting this special fundraiser specifically to help the DiFalco family.
About the Westfield Baseball League:
The WBL is an approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The WBL provides three seasons of organized, recreational and competitive baseball for the youth of Westfield. The WBL helps support many Westfield athletic organizations and local charities. All donations made to the WBL are tax deductible.
