Hello to my family, friends and supporters!

Surprise! I am currently a contestant in the Miss New York Pageant. I need your help to raise the funds needed to participate.

I'm not gonna lie, we are down to the wire here. After weeks of a massive internal battle with myself, I decided to finally bite the bullet and step into the fear that comes with doing something so out of my comfort zone. Because of this, I have just a few days to raise the funds.

Outside of losing (which I'm really not THAT afraid of to be honest lol), I was afraid of judgement, afraid of not being good enough, afraid of what it would feel like to be in a space where I felt like people are so much better than me, etc etc. But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I don't want to sit it out because I'm so worried about things that don't matter. You see how the enemy feeds this little voice of insecurity we have? I'm fighting back.

I believe the Lord Almighty will continue be gracious and merciful enough to see me through this. Win or lose, He is my portion, and I refuse to forget my identity in Him. I pray this experience would give me an opportunity to encourage other women, build my own confidence against the scariest of things, and most importantly- pray it would allow me to share the light and love of Jesus.
