Teddy Daycare in Arusha, Tanzania

Hi. It's me, Brett Gorman.

For the past 2 weeks, I've been volunteering at Teddy Daycare in Arusha, Tanzania. These incredible children have so little, yet their joy and eagerness to learn shine brightly every day.

While here, I've seen the same worn clothes, crumbling notebooks, and broken crayons they use to explore and create. Many of these kids could use a wardrobe refresh - some even have ripped clothing.

I'm reaching out to raise funds for Teddy Daycare to bring some joy in the form of:

• New classroom supplies: notebooks, pencils, crayons, etc.

• Clothing for the children: comfortable and new outfits!

• Toys for the children: books, cars, dolls

These small things can make a huge difference in their learning environment and self-esteem.

As much as I'm teaching them the alphabet and numbers, they're teaching me so much more. They've shown me the power of a smile and the value of appreciating what we have.
