Team Zaeli

I came across Zaeli's story by chance through Instagram - her mum Jo entered in one of our giveaways to win Zaeli a pretend play supermarket. All of the businesses involved were touched by Zaeli's story and we wanted to be able to do much more for her and her family in this heartbreaking circumstance.

Zaeli is 22 months old and is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She was diagnosed last year in June when her and her family were in Ireland for a family holiday and Jo's brother's wedding.
At the beginning Zaeli was very unwell and had to be put into an induced coma for 24 hours. Jo and Zaeli live in Brisbane and Zaeli has just recently been in hospital for 6 weeks whilst undergoing a Bone Marrow Transplant, and has now gone through 8 months of chemotherapy.

Although Zaeli's treatments are covered, it is a very difficult time for her family. There are the financial burdens of daily life and stresses of needing to provide full-time care for her beautiful daughter while she undergos treatments for her cancer- leaving Jo unable to work and without support from Zaeli's father. 

I hope we can all come together to offer our support for Zaeli and her family during a time that no one as a parent  wishes to go through alone.

Of course, we appreciate any amount of donations and are truley grateful for your support. Our current campaign goal of $10,000 is only an estimated amount, and it is very likely Zaeli's family will need much more than this to get Zaeli to America for her CAR T cell therapy to save her life.
