Help me get to Worlds!

          My name is Jacob Bruner, and I am a senior at High School in Norhern Virginia. I am also a member of our school's robotics team. I have been on the team for 5 years, and each year my fellow classmates and I have been working hard to hone our engineering and teamworking skills. After 6 weeks of hard work we produced a robot to compete in this year's challenge, FIRST Stronghold.

          This past weekend my robotics won the Chesapeake District Championship and we were invited to the 2016 FIRST World Championship, in St Louis, MO. This was the 3rd competition win for our team.  There are only six other teams in the whole world, who have a win record as good as ours. We are very excited for this once in a lifetime chance, as this is first time that our team has had the opportunity to compete on the world stage.

         Attending the World Championship in St Louis is a wonderful opportunity for all, as it attracts teams from all over the world. We are looking foward to be able to meet and compete with some of the best technical and engineering high schools in the world.


                Currently running on a minimal budget, I am now seeking support and funding to help take some of the financial pressure off myself so that I can support my team at the tournament.
