A little help from my friends.

So, I like to pretend I'm Wonder Woman sometimes...  that I'm strong and independent and never need anyone's help.  But this time, I kinda do.  On June 30th, I needed a total hysterectomy to remove a very bad birth control device, Essure, that was destroying my body.  Then about a week later I ended up in the ER with pain and a fever... found out I had internal bleeding that needed to be drained and an infection.  I spent a total of 6 days in the hospital.  It sucked.  And I'm scared to even see the total amount of medical bills once they come in!  But, that's not what I'm asking for help with.  I was out of work for just about 6 weeks and my short term disability, (which was only going to pay 50% of my income) was denied because they claim they never got the correct forms.  Even though I did everything they asked.  So I'm in the process of filing an appeal, but who knows when, or if I'll get anything.  So, I'm reluctantly asking you all, if you can spare it, to help me out a bit until I get some money coming in.  I promise to pay it forward, and if you EVER need a favor... please ask.  Thank you.
