Team Mari Christmas 2021

Hi everyone. My name is Mari Copeny, I’m 14 years old and you may know me as “Little Miss Flint” even though I’m not so little anymore. I'm an activist, advocate, and philanthropist. I'm also a Flint kid that loves giving back to Flint kids.

Since 2017 I have been hosting huge holiday events to spread the joy of Christmas to kids in my community. I love Christmas and being able to spread the magic of Christmas to other kids is my favorite thing to do. In years past we have done whatever we can to make our events something truly memorable, including having inflatables, arts and crafts, cookie decorating, stocking stuffing, a hot cocoa bar, real reindeer, book giveaway, cold weather gear giveaway, and a black Santa clause.

Last year covid caused us to have to scale back significantly and not do our in person holiday event, we were still able to provide over 100 children with presents for Christmas. 

This year we are back and the plan is to bring back my winter wonderland, even bigger and better then before but I need your help to pull this off. Many local families are feeling the pain from dealing with the ongoing global pandemic and are struggling now more than ever. That is why I want to step up and not only take some of the burden away from local parents, but to bring some Christmas joy to the entire family.
