Spende geschützt
In December Jonathan became ill, which we thought was the flu but to our surprise the flu test came back negative. So we came home with cold meds. Jonathan took a little longer than usual to get over his cold and we starting noticing that he was losing weight and the color in his face looked grey sometimes. I took him back to the doctor but they thought it was his ADHD meds causing the weight loss. Then Jonathan started having chest pains and night sweats so i took him back to the doctor and they did an EKG and that came back normal so they started blood work. The 1st set of blood work was off so they did another set of blood tests and it came back the same. Jonathan had inflammation inside his body but didn't know where it was coming from so he was sent for a CT scan. Tuesday February 6th Jonathan had his CT scan and that Friday the results came back that Jonathan had a Large tumor in his chest next to his heart that was pushing his heart to the left. Monday morning Jonathan was admitted to the hospital and that Wednesday morning Jonathan had a biopsy done and Thursday Jonathan was Diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Jonathan Started Chemo that Friday.
Jonathan spent the following week in the hospital continuing his 1st round of chemo. Each round of Chemo is spread over 8 days every 3 weeks. He will receive the chemo for about year and if all goes well Jonathan will not have to get radiation. So far so good everything is running smoothly except for normal side affects.
Jonathan sees the Doctor 3 days a week on non chemo weeks and 4-5 days for chemo weeks.
We have a long road ahead of us please keep Jonathan in your prayers and feel free to share this page with family and friends.
Thank you!! <3
