Teachers vs. Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Ana, and I am here to support my dear friend and classroom neighbor, Ms. Blacklock. Everyone in our school knows Ms. Blacklock; she is a mother figure to all students, holds them to a high standard and always goes above and beyond to ensure everyone's well-being in and out of class!!

Ms. Blacklock always has a smile or kind word for anyone who might need it; she truly radiates positivity and optimism. I believe it is only fitting to reciprocate the endless love she has shown us during her many years at Sharpstown High School.

Many might not know, but Ms. Blacklock was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Despite this, she continues to show up every day for our kids and continues to share her beautiful spirit with all of us every single day. As everyone is aware, Breast Cancer treatment takes a toll not only on the body but also on the finances of the people facing it. I wanted to start this small effort to help Ms. Blacklock with some of the expenses associated with her condition and give back a little bit of the love she shows us every day!
