Help Butterfly Education and producers Costa Rica

Costa Rica is known for it's amazing diversity! At the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens we raise awareness and develop appreciation and love for bugs! Sadly with the onset of Corona virus we have now been closed for two months with no income. 

Our staff and volunteers have been working hard taking care of the bugs and gardens. We have started growing food in the greenhouses so our team can stay fed as this continues. With butterfly houses closed all over the world our local butterfly breeders have no one to sell their butterflies to. They have no income. 

Our plan is to use your donations to support butterfly producers around the country by buying pupas so they can stay in the game! We don't want to loose the butterfly production of Costa rica! 

We will also use the funds to pay our staff and start making more interpretive videos so we can help change peoples minds about bugs even while we are closed!
