Tarah's Medical Journey

I am creating this GoFundMe for my sister, Tarah. My sister had a kidney transplant 2 years ago, and unfortunately, her transplant failed due to an unknown diagnosis of a rare blood disorder called Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS). This caused her to be hospitalized for 2 months from August to September, is now listed for a second transplant, and has now been re-hospitalized recently, due to more kidney and aHUS complications. This has created a heavy financial burden for her, as she is a single mom trying to make ends meet. Outside of medical expenses, her Medi-Cal insurance plan was switched and is no longer able to receive the care she needs through her transplant doctors and blood specialists. Your financial help would allow my sister to get the medical care she needs by purchasing a private insurance plan for this year, as well as covering her extensive medical bills.
