Tantarelli Fire Recovery Fund

Santa Rosa natives, Tom and Michelle Tantarelli have always called Santa Rosa home. They purchased their first, and only, home in 1978 on Miller Drive in Santa Rosa. For 39 years their home was enjoyed by their four children and now their four grandchildren, and many more family and friends. With no time to prepare, their home was taken by the Tubbs fire in a matter of minutes. The family memories are strong, but the fire has taken irreplaceable tangible keepsakes, including items the family had from their son Dominic who passed away less than two years ago.  As loving friends and former residents of Miller Drive, our hearts ache for the Tantarelli family and all the others who have lost homes.

Both Tom and Michelle are long-standing community servants, dedicating their lives to helping others through their careers. Michelle has worked as a nurse in Santa Rosa for more than 42 years. She has spent the last 30 + years working at Kaiser and Sutter hospitals in Santa Rosa. Tom worked for the County of Sonoma for nearly 40 years. Avid sports fans they have supported all of our Santa Rosa schools and will likely be a part of the many working to rebuild all that was lost throughout Sonoma County.

Now it is our turn to help them get back on their feet. We may never be able to replace the items they had emotional connections to, but we can help show them that their community appreciates the work they do, and the work they will continue to do for others as they rebuild their lives.
