Claudett's Taiwan Mission Trip

I am happy to share that I will be going to Taiwan with a team of 29 people organized by Chinese Evangelical Church in San Diego from June 29th – August 27th! Our team has been given a wonderful opportunity to partner with a local school, Da Dau Middle School, and a local church, Jia En Lutheran Church for two weeks. We will be lending a hand with their English program and basketball camp at the school the first week and helping with the VBS program at the church the second week. The team will leave after the two weeks and I, along with one other team member, will stay for another six weeks to help with the ESL program at the church. We want to cultivate meaningful relationships with these middle school students who come from socially and economically disadvantaged families and we trust that God will be able to use this setting to bring the Gospel to the unsaved families and friends. And so, I would like to ask you to partner with us as we share the Gospel in Taiwan. We would greatly appreciate your support through prayer as we prepare for this trip, as we reach our destination safely, and as we serve the people there as advocates for Him. If you are able, we would also like to ask for your support financially. I need raise $3,500 to cover food, accommodations, air/ground transportation, on-site training and materials, and camp student lunch expenses.
