Moving to Iowa

Hello Internet people, friends, family, and those I've not yet met.

My family and I are relocating to Iowa on short notice with zero resources. I know, right? It's for an amazing job opportunity, and after more than a year of unemployment I couldn't be more excited about landing my dream job.

The problem is that after said year of unemployment, our resources are completely depleted, and I need some help bridging the gap between when I move to Iowa and when my wife and 5-year-old boy get to join me. The more resources we can put together the faster that transition can happen.

We'll be using the funds to pay for getting set up in a new place in Iowa, as well as the relocation expenses of getting some of our stuff there. We're downsizing significantly, but we still have a lifetime of stuff we're interesting in retaining.

I can't tell you how much it would mean to us for you to pitch in whatever you can and share our story with others.
