Lawyer Fees

As some of you may know, my family and I have been trying for months to retrieve my niece back from Texas. 

On September of 2020, my sister let my niece go down to Texas to visit relatives she hasn’t seen in years. They asked to extend their time and when my sister said no, they became unresponsive. My sister drove down to Texas to bring my niece home, only to be denied by law enforcement and the grandparents. My sister is the only one on the birth certificate, she has been the only consistent person in my nieces life and has been her sole provider since the father refused to be on the birth certificate so he didn’t have to pay child support. In the state of Texas this is considered a civil matter and there was nothing anyone could do without documentation approved by a judge and served by the constable. Unfortunately, all documentation from Montana is void in Texas so our writ of attachment, court order, parenting plan, etc were denied.

We have been in contact with various law enforcement officers, constables office, lawyers, district clerks offices, county clerks offices, etc., they all have provided us misinformation which resulted in a $1300 trip to Texas which ended with us leaving yet again without my niece with 0 explanation as to why. We have called lawyer after lawyer only to be referred again and again. We have finally found a lawyer but are in need of immediate funds and are running out of time. 

I am asking for any help to bring my niece home.
