Sandra's Cancer Battle Fund

On March 3rd, 2016, the Ekstrom family received some devastating news. Sandra was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma. Over the next 2 weeks she would be in the hospital where she underwent Maximum Safe Removal brain surgery, daily therapy and has finally been cleared to come home. She will need a few more weeks to heal at home from her surgery and then she will begin chemo and radiation treatments to attack her tumors. These treatments will be daily for 6 weeks and once the treatment is complete she will be re-evaulated for the next stage of the treatment process.

As many of you know the cost of her surgery, hospital stay and her upcoming treatments are going to be astronomical.  Derek, Courtney and Dustin are doing what they can to provide her everything she needs - but they can only do so much.  This is where we are all needed! We are trying to raise funds to help cover the expense of her mounting medical bills, upcoming treatments and anything else that will be needed for her as she and the family fights this awful cancer.

For those of you that know Sandra she loved everyone, would do anything for anyone and now it's our turn to help her and her family as they turn their focus to fight this cancer. They need our help and each and every dollar will help this family thru a very diffucult time in their lives and ensure they have the funds needed to live and progress thru any and all treatments.

Sandra will fight and we will make sure she does not fight alone!
