Desperate-Baby Formula for Syrian Babies

Babies carry no guns, have no political agenda and arguably no religion, yet they are without doubt the most tragic victims of conflict.
The clinics and hospitals of Jabal Zawiya were raided and destroyed by Syrian government soldiers months ago. Now the surgeries must operate in secret for their protection. Residential, non-military areas are still under constant attack from rockets, mortars, artillery and the Syrian airforce.
On my previous trip the area was bombed relentlessly every single day.

The doctors of the region have formed an organisation - the Medical Organisation For The Syrian People, they care for over 350 000 people, not only medically but also providing food and shelter for refugees and the destitute.
They are a democratically elected group of nonpartisan doctors who offer free medical and humanitarian care to all.
We have so far personally delivered 7.5 tons of baby formula for children who are in a critical deprived nutritional state and non-lactating mothers.
We have also supplied hundreds of thousands of assorted bandages, winter clothes, food and medicines.
We are now raising money to send another 50 tons of baby formula, equipment for a pediatric emergency center and more medicines.
I will continue to accompany the vehicles myself and assist with distribution, there is no corruption, no expense accounts and no middlemen.
