Swing the Seven

As our video explains, Swing the Seven's mission is to increase millennial engagement and participation in the California midterm elections through music, art, and education. We want to harness the millennial voting bloc to play a pivotal role in a blue wave to wash over congress.
We will be hosting an event in the summer of 2018 to galvanize millennials in Los Angeles and surrounding areas to get involved in volunteer opportunities leading up to the midterm elections. We'll also partner with local organizations to provide phone banking, canvassing, and voter registration events that are fun, social and non-intimidating.
Swing the Seven exists to provide opportunities to frustrated younger generations looking for an outlet for direct action and incentivize political engagement by showing just how much fun it can actually be!
We are a unique organization—a coalition of millennials fighting to create a better world. We're using our networks in the creative arts industries of Los Angeles, our wide ranging resources, and our free time to push back against the regressive agenda being pushed by the Trump administration and its cronies. Our impact starts with these CA midterms.
Donations will go directly towards:
- Swing the Seven phone bank socials
- Swing the Seven canvassing trips into our targeted districts.
- Voter registration events at community colleges in and around our targeted districts
- Festival expenses: artists fees, vendors, production, permits, security, etc.
ALL additional proceeds will be distributed to the Democratic candidates in our targeted seven districts and the Democratic candidate in the 22nd district if there is one because well, Nunes...need I say more.
