Forbes Family Lost Home in Fire

Absolute Volleyball Club (San Rafael, CA) is looking for help from our community for our dear friend and close member of our volleyball family, Coach Susan Forbes, her husband Joe, and their 3 young sons - 6 years old and younger.  Although we are especially grateful they are safe, we were devastated to learn that they lost their home in the fires currently taking place in Santa Rosa where they live.  They evacuated their home in the middle of the night, only to have to wait to find out that their home was later destroyed. 

Susan has helped with coaching at our club, as well as taking care of the College Recruiting Process for our older girls.  She is a University of Pacific Alumni - and was a standout player for their women's volleyball program.  She has coached at NorCal Volleyball Club as well as with our program - developing our Recruiting Coordinator position to help our young athletes find their place at the collegiate level.

We are devasted for her, and want to do what we can to extend our help to her and her beautiful family during this time.  Although we cannot replace the "things" laden with priceless memories, we want to raise funds to assist Susan and Joe - and those three precious boys - to get back on their feet.
