My dear friend Sherry St. Andrews has been hit with several tragic events in the past year. For her, 2017 brought many health issues which have since been diagnosed as Lyme Disease. Sadly, Sherry also lost her father whom she had been caring for during his last days. All of this resulted in her losing her job that she had held for 20 years. (When it rains it pours)
The treatments for Lyme Disease revealed another serious issue. Her doctors recently discovered a tumor in her head. She is in need of surgery to remove the mass ASAP. The surgery is complicated by major facial nerves being involved which has escalated the cost despite having health insurance. About half of the out-of-pocket expenses are required to be paid up front- which is approximately $10,000.
This fund will help relieve some of her burden.
