Surgery for sweet Lila (aka Pebbles)

Any one who lives on Angelus Place is familiar with the tiny, sweet, friendly black and white cat officially known as Lila but dubbed "Pebbles" by my household and "Chalky" or "Tux" to the kids on the street. 

She may be small but she is tough and loves her freedom to roam the neighborhood visiting all of her friends and families. 

Last night (5/14) Lila experienced an unknown blunt-force trauma to her jaw resulting in a broken jaw in 3 different places. True to Lila form, she handled the situation as cool as possible although in a lot of pain.

Lila had to spend the evening at the vet ER to monitor her injuries and keep her comfortable. Today (5/15) Lila was transferred to another ER where she received X-rays which revealed the jaw injuries. She will have to spend the weekend on IV's and most likely undergo surgery Monday. 

Although Lila is Clare's baby through-and-through she has become special to so many people on this street.

The cost of hospital stay and surgery is extremely high and any donation would be a huge help and relief!
