Support the P-- Family

Back in June, the P-- family connected with a few people at Irving Bible Church in need of shelter and support. They are a sweet refugee family of six from South Asia, and they have been on quite a journey to get to Dallas. 

A team of people from Irving Bible Church has been working with the family to give them a place to stay, transportation, help with finding jobs, and trying to seek a longterm place to live. The car they have now doesn't have air conditioning, nor does it fit all six of them. We would love to get the AC fixed and find them a reliable vehicle that can hold the whole family.  They have been staying with a very generous IBCer, but they will need to find a place to rent on their own. We're trying to seek somewhere that is affordable, but gathering funds to go toward a deposit and the first month's rent would be a great help. School is also starting soon, and their four kids will need school supplies, back packs, and some school clothes to start the year off well.

It has been a pleasure for me and my family to get to help these sweet folks get on their feet in a new area. Getting to know other IBCers who have a heart for refugees has also given me hope while it seems the world is falling apart. How wonderful it has been to help give this sweet family hope and dignity during this transitional time!

If you can give any support at all, they would very much appreciate it! The money will go toward:
- a large vehicle that will fit the family
- a deposit on an apartment
- the first month's rent
- school supplies
- school clothes
- fixing the AC in their current car
