I’m Michele Gourdine. And this is a Go Fund Me for Dominic and Anthony Forlizzo. Dawn Marie’s two sons.

Dawn Marie Cristello Forlizzo left us unexpectedly Sunday morning, putting her two boys and family into a nightmare they never imagined.

She was my god given, divinely chosen, baby sister, godmother of my child, maid of honor, but most important, my friend. She was a loved and adored mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, step daughter, step sister and incredible friend to those lucky enough to have meet her and become her friend. That wasn’t hard to do…she pretty much loved everyone and was always there if you needed her.

Always happy and positive on the outside, even when her heart and sole were heartbroken on the inside. She was so important and special to so, so many of us. And by far one of the happiest girls, we’ve all had the pleasure of laughing with.

I’m starting this fundraiser for her boys because she had so much left to do with and for them. They always came first. The only thing that would keep her from her boys, would be this.

Yesterday morning that happen. No one knows why or what happened. She was found passed away at her home, only 49 years old.

Her biggest and only concerns we’re her boys, her elderly mother and sick brother. Those 4 people were her world.

She even decided to live in the same complex as their father, after her divorced, to make co parenting as easy on the boys as possible. The two boys easily went back and forth between the two condos and they all navigated visitation and co parenting like champions.

So, this is for her for us to do for them.

She never wanted a service and asked to be cremated.

At some point we will plan/have a celebration of life but for now we are all just numb and in shock. It doesn’t seem real yet.

But now is the time to ask all who loved her to donate. Anything you can, it all helps. Since, she didn’t want a formal burial or even a cemetery plot, please put the flower money, charity donation, etc. towards a donation that will directly benefit her boys. I know Dom needed tires for his car and Anthony needed more school clothes.

Monday they had to go over and gather their things from Mom ‘s condo, to transition into full time living at Dads condo. They are being so strong.

I wish there was more I could do but this is definitely needed and will definitely help ease any financial burdens that their immediate future may hold.

All donations will go directly to and for Dominic and Anthony and things they might need.

Her boys are the strongest two boys in the world handling this like grown men. They are truly amazing young men and deserve any financial hand up we can give them through this tragic loss.

Thank you so, so much for loving DC, my little sister. She was, still is and always will be amazing. Here on earth or up in heaven.
