Supporting Baby Asha, Armeka & Trey

Donation protected
Armeka and Trey are the kind of friends you want to have. They are the first ones to volunteer to pray for you or help you in a bind. The first ones to pick up the phone and make sure you’re okay in an emergency and see how they can help. They are tried and true, now, it’s our turn to help them.

In March of 2018, Armeka and her husband Trey received the news that she was expecting and due December 2018. It was a surprise because she had been told that it would be difficult for her to conceive due to a medical condition.  We were all beyond excited and praised God for this amazing gift.  Later on we were even more surprised when it was revealed that she was carrying twins, two baby girls.  Armeka and Trey named them Eden and Asha.  A few weeks later we found out the babies had a rare condition, TTTS (twin-twin transfusion syndrome).  This occurs in pregnancies when identical twins share a placenta. Abnormal blood vessel connections form in the placenta and allow blood to flow unevenly between the babies. We prayed and stayed in faith that she would carry them full term and both babies would survive.  In August, at 25 weeks pregnant, Armeka was hospitalized due to TTTS complications and although the doctors tried to save both babies, Eden went home to be with the Lord.  Asha was delivered and has since been in NICU fighting for her life.  Though she is staying strong and progressing daily, Asha still has a little more time before she joins Mommy and Daddy at home. It's a miracle that she is with us.

I am asking for donations to help this couple with the medical bills as well as their monthly financial obligations. We don’t know what the final medical bill will be, but with all the procedures that have been done as well as the care that will continue for months, we know it will be extremely high. Right now their main focus is to spend as much time as possible with Asha and continue to pray over her so that they can bring her home.  Armeka will not be able to return to work for a while as Asha needs to be strong enough to go home and then she will need care at home.  They have only been living in South Florida for 2 years and have no family here.  Family have been flying down to visit and help when possible.  I am asking for you to donate whatever you can to help this family get through a very difficult time.  These first time parents need financial and emotional support.  Through all of this, their faith has not waivered, and they share daily their hope and faith with other parents at the NICU and pray over all the babies that are there. We believe that God uses every circumstance to bring something good and to show His glory.  He will take this trial and bring something good out of it!

Thank you for your support, please keep Armeka, Trey, Asha and their family in your prayers. Pray that Asha will be healed completely, that she can soon go home with her parents and for strength and peace for everyone.

God bless you please share their story.
