In the context of the severe financial crisis Greece has been going through during the past years, Greek archival repositories are significantly underfunded. In many cases archivists have to cover expenses on their own due to the state's extremely low budgets approved for the operation of the Archival Services.
Realizing the threat our history and cultural heritage face, we decided to take action!
Help us raise funds to buy supplies for the GAK office of Laconia (Sparta). The office needs paper, archival boxes and folders!
We will collect the funds and place the order (receipt will be posted).
