Support Zack Schrage's Journey to Nationals

My name is Zack Schrage, and I am a junior at Horseheads High School. I have spent three years on the varsity wrestling team and had the honor of being a team captain this year. In addition to that, I wrestle for both the United Training Facility in Athens, PA, and 5th Round Fitness in Elmira, NY. I enjoy volunteering to coach youth wrestlers and working at Elmira Fitness as a coach for their Ninja Warrior program. Both provide me with a chance to give back to the community and the sport I am passionate about.

I recently qualified to compete at the US Marine Corps National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, ND. The competition takes place this summer from July 12th - July 20th.

This is the biggest Olympic-style wrestling tournament in the world. Competing in this tournament is a critical step toward reaching my goals. However, like many things in life, I can't do this alone. It will take the help of my family, coaches, teammates, and community to help me accomplish all I have set out to do.

The cost for me to be able to compete in this tournament is $2,200. This includes air travel to and from North Dakota, uniforms, lodging, and meals for the week that I will be in Fargo, ND.

While I am working to fund my trip, I also need time to train, which limits my available work hours. Any financial assistance to help with the cost will be greatly appreciated
