Support Wendy’s Road to Recovery ❤️‍

Wendy Meadors is a well-known chef, activist, and loving friend here in Lexington. Wednesday evening, while going to do one of her favorite things—preparing and enjoying food with people she loves—Wendy was in a bad car wreck which has left her car totaled, 11 broken ribs, a laceration on her liver, 2 fractures in her sternum, 6 stitches in her right leg, and partially collapsed lungs. Despite all this, Wendy has remained in high spirits and has felt a world of love over the last few days. While we all know love goes a long way, Wendy will have to be out of work for quite some time to recover and let her body heal. In order to make this recovery period as painless as possible, I am asking you to throw whatever amount you can spare to help Wen cover her monthly expenses as well as purchase a new (to her) beloved Subaru!

Wendy has always been a fiercely loyal friend, but she is more like family to me and so many others. Her chosen family—especially Rhythm and Isabella—have stepped into the caretaker role so effortlessly and with so much love, so fret not! She is in great hands.
