Support Vet Care for Rescued Rockwood Dogs
Spende geschützt
On Thursday March 20th, Tracey and I responded to a facebook post of a dog that seemed lost on a private road leading to Garrett Limestone quarry. When we arrived we noticed 3 very skiddish and skinny young dogs. With the help from some friends, we were able to load all of them into my car. After posting them to facebook, we quickly learned that the dogs had been dumped off by a local Rockwood man who no longer wanted them. These dogs are so far from domesticated that they're terrified to be on a leash. I am currently fostering the two males while Tracey is fostering the female and we are working with them day and night to adjust them to life outside of a kennel. I'm asking for the community's help in getting these guys properly vaccinated, an all over good checkup, limes tested and treated if needed, and spayed/neutered to prevent this ripple effect. Their first vet appt is scheduled for Tuesday the 25th. Donations will be split between the 3 dogs for vet bills/care and any remaining donations will be distributed to a local rescue. Thank you for your generosity and support while we try to show these pups what life should be!
