Support Team C on our #hikeformike

On Saturday the 6th of May, 20 members of Team C will be taking on the 24hr National 3 Peaks Challenge in loving memory of our Field Engineer Michael Kitchen, who tragically passed away in December 2022. The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales; with a total walking distance of 23 miles (37km) and a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft) within 24 hours.

Mike was an extremely valued friend and his passing has certainly left a gaping hole in the Team C family. With Mike’s warming, optimistic and ‘thrill-seeker’ personality in mind (not to mention he was an avid hiker) this challenge will be a fitting tribute, hence why so many of us are taking part! Mike’s stepson will also be joining us in completing the challenge which will make this an even more memorable feat.
