In Loving Memory of Tony Aligbe ❤️ Our Husband. Father. Brother. Uncle. Friend. On Monday, July 21st, 2025, our world was shattered. In less than five hours, we lost the heart of our family — Tony Aligbe — a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother, generous uncle, and loyal friend. What began as a normal day quickly spiraled into a nightmare no one could have seen coming. At 2:44 PM, Tony was picked up by EMS. By 3:08 PM, he had coded for the first time. By 5:15 PM, we were blindsided with devastating news: Tony had advanced stage 4 cancer, with fluid filling his abdomen and blood clots spreading throughout his body. No one knew. Not even him. He coded again. And again. Over 13 times in total. Despite the best efforts of doctors — and through countless tears and desperate prayers — I was faced with an impossible decision. At 7:08 PM, I agreed to place a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order. Moments later, Tony coded one final time… and peacefully passed into eternity, surrounded by love and prayer.
Who Tony Was Tony was the kind of man whose presence lit up every room. He loved deeply, worked tirelessly, and gave wholeheartedly. To know him was to experience kindness. To be loved by him was to feel safe. He was a protector, a provider, a peacemaker. He made us laugh. He carried our burdens. He was our rock — and now, our hearts are broken.
