Apenas dois dias antes do nascimento de seu filho, Gilberto foi detido pelo ICE. Ele ainda não pôde segurar seu bebê nos braços, apoiar sua esposa durante a recuperação, nem viver os primeiros momentos de paternidade pelos quais estava tão ansioso e orgulhoso.

Gilberto é o único provedor de sua família. Com sua esposa em recuperação do parto e cuidando do recém-nascido, ela não pode trabalhar — deixando-a sobrecarregada emocionalmente, financeiramente e fisicamente.

Esta jovem família agora enfrenta:
