Hello everyone. Our beloved wife and mother, Christine Wasnieski, was in a horrific accident on Wednesday, 11/13/24. She was taking her mother to a doctor's appointment and crossing the street, but a Dodge Ram truck came out of nowhere and hit them as pedestrians. Fortunately, her mother is okay, but Christine is not. She suffered a severe and unrecoverable brain injury and is on life support. Christine was always so giving, and we as a family decided that we would like to donate her organs to give her death some meaning. She will be honored as an organ donor at 7 pm on 11/15/24, at SIUH North SICU. Funeral arrangements will follow this weekend.

Due to the unexpected nature of this tragic accident, we wanted to start this GoFundMe as a family to cover any funeral costs and any additional unexpected costs we may face as a family, with one working parent now gone. Please give whatever you can, even if it is only a prayer for Christine and our family.
