Support the Volkhardts

On March 13th our family lost Derrick in a very sudden manner. My sister lost her husband, her kids lost their father and his parents lost a son. Nicole and Derrick were together since she was 17 years old. They were the epitome of a couple who has only known life as couple, taking on the world together and able to lean on each other through life's struggles and accomplishments. Together they have blessed us with two kids, DJ and Camilla. With such a sudden death, my sister's world has been turned upside down. She now faces a life of raising two kids alone. They are small business owners which creates it's own challenges in times of crisis. They also had to move out of their house overnight. Nicole has a lot of struggles facing her in the coming months such as the costs and logistics of a funeral service, finding a new home, securing childcare and just everyday essentials for her children.  She needs a village behind her. I'm asking that if you have a dollar or two to spare, please donate to my sister to help her and her children get back on their feet. The funds will be used for their open bills, subsidize the cost of the funeral service, costs of certificates, transitioning the business, groceries for the kids, basic hygiene essentials and a down payment on a rental home/apartment. Every single dollar will help secure a better future for her and her children. We all require a village at some point in our lives to prop us up. My sister and I had a village when we lost our dad at a young age and it's time for me to pay it forward. Please consider being part of her village.
