Support the Struggling Parents in your Community

Mothers of Avalon is grassroots, federally registered, not for profit organization based out of St. John’s, Newfoundland.

We provide support to the Mothers, Parents, and Caregivers in our community who experience barriers to their fundamental needs. Our members may be single parents, low income families, new Canadian families, families struggling with illness and disabilities, just to name a few.

Symbolic Donations:

$75 = cleaning service for a parent in need

$60 = lactation consulting service for a nursing mother.

$30 = Karma Collection Food Hamper

$35 = a supply of diapers or pull ups

$50 = a supply of Baby Formula

$80 = a day at our Picnic and Play Playgroup

$10 = a months supply of period products

Our focus right now helping counteract food insecurity, period poverty, lactation support, and providing essential items to parents to assist them in their parenthood (toiletries, diapers, wipe, and formula to name a few). We provide additional help at help during holidays such as Easter, Christmas, and Back to School.

We are also fostering a community via our market fundraisers, and social events. We are proud of what we are doing and have big dreams helping many more families this year. Please consider donating and support the struggling parents in our community.
