Hello My Name is Lindsaye, I’m making this GoFund Me so our story can be heard and My family and I can get the help we need. I know everyone is struggling, but at this time I am desperately asking for help, Im 21 and have been trying to do everything I can do and think of but I’m only one person.

In about 2 months or less we could be getting evicted out of a place we’ve lived in for 8 years that we call home. I live with my Mom, My very sick Dad ,Two brothers,my 1 year old Son, 8 year old Nephew, and 3 month old Niece.

With Winter right around the corner I’m worried we won’t have enough funds to keep a roof over our heads and it’s hard to even keep the fridge full for a whole month while paying for everything else to survive.

My Dad for the last 5+ years to now has been sick in and out of hospitals, clinics and treatment centers. From having multiple back Surgeries and Dialysis treatments. Since just last November my Dad had a spinal fusion surgery we thought everything was going okay with the healing process, but then a couple months after the operation he started having a hard time walking and had a hard time moving the lower half of his body.

Late January of this year 2024 he had a Second operation because another disc had got damaged. Just in that little bit of time we had noticed a decline in his appetite, energy and overall wellbeing/ health. My Mom had then brought him back to UW only to find that he had an infection growing in his stomach from bacteria building up on the inside of inner part of his dialysis transfer tube. My Dad was then put on antibiotics and sent back home, still nothing changed so my Mom brought him back to UW cause he was only getting worse. The doctors then removed his fluid dialysis tubing and connected him up to hemodialysis so it could still filter out the toxins in his body . The antibiotics that he was put on made him so weak, weaker than what he was feeling already and his body was breaking out with blister like sores. My Dad still wasn’t eating or drinking anything and when he did it all came right back up so the doctors did more tests and more x-rays.. they had seen that his liver looked infected by the infection. After my Mom had fought and fought they finally had inserted a feeding tube so he was at least getting nutrients and things he needed. He was getting so bad to the point he couldn’t talk, lift his arms, keep his eyes open or even move his head.

My Dad still now Today 9/7/24 on his birthday is sitting in a hospital sicker than heck and all I’m worried about is weather or not he’ll have a home to come to when he gets better. With all of this being said as you can see we have been fighting and fighting for my Dads health to get better.

Neither of my parents are working due to these circumstances, I myself on a $14 wage only working a few days a week cannot and will not be able to afford/support anything when it comes to living expenses. All I’m asking is if you could donate just as little as a $1 or even share to get this out there we would greatly appreciate it!
