Tessa Kriesel is one of the strongest, most generous people in our community — someone who has spent years lifting others up, advocating for developers, supporting teams, mentoring newcomers, and showing up for people who needed help.

Today, she’s the one who needs us.

After two years of layoffs and setbacks, Tessa, Jeff, and their kids are now effectively homeless, living in a camper. As she shared publicly, she woke up on her oldest child’s birthday unsure if they would even have food that day, let alone the ability to buy a small gift.

Our community has always rallied for people in their darkest moments. This is one of those moments. A small contribution from many of us can transform a humiliating, frightening situation into one where this family feels seen, supported, and not alone.

She is actively looking for work. She is ready to get back on her feet, but right now, this family needs groceries, fuel, and basic living essentials just to make it through the month.
