Hi everyone, we are raising funds for the Jalali family; Zabihullah, Kobra and their daughter, Sahar. After 3 long weeks of fleeing their village, traveling to Kabul and living in fear, they have finally been evacuated from Afghanistan.
Zabihullah worked as an interpreter for the US Military, bravely serving along side my husband Matt and his unit from 2011-2012. His goal was to make his country a better place not just for himself, but his wife and future children.
They will be arriving as refugees with only the clothes on their back and will need help establishing a new life in a free world. All the funds raised will go towards clothes, food, lodging and whatever else the family needs to get on their feet. The family will be living with Matt and I until they are ready for their own place here in Tennessee.
Any help will go a long way for this family and show them that America is welcoming them with open arms.
