It is with great sadness that I share the news that Daniel Guzman, a Carpenter Foreman who has faithfully worked for Hensel Phelps over the past 24 years, has lost his son Erik, who was just 18 years old. Although gone far too early, the Purple Line team and Compass team had the pleasure of working with him the past three summers. Erik was a hardworking and kindhearted young man, just like his dad. For those that don't know Daniel or have had the pleasure of working with him, Daniel is one of the most kindhearted, hard-working, and dedicated individuals you'll ever meet, and you could clearly see that he raised his son to be the same.

As Daniel and his family navigate this unimaginable tragedy, we're looking for the Hensel Phelps Family to come together to help the Guzman family get through this difficult time. All proceeds go directly to the family and any little bit helps. Our goal is for the HP Family to cover all funeral expenses and more, so it is one less thing Daniel and his family have to think about during these difficult times. Let's show Daniel the same dedication he has shown to Hensel Phelps over the past 24 years with these donations.
