On Sunday, June 15th, our hearts were shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of our brother Brian Raul Montes. He was more than family—he was a light in our lives with a heart of gold, hardworking, and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Though he faced many hardships, Brian always chose to be funny, laughing, making jokes. His story was not an easy one, but he wore his scars with strength and poured his energy into his children and the people he loved.

He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met with his humor, kindness, and unwavering love. He would give the shirt off his back (literally, he would take it off and give it to you.) And was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter how difficult the job was.

His absence leaves a hole that can never be filled.
