In 2016, Militant antifascists confronted the fascist and racist group Identity Ireland on their way to a planned rally. On the same day they confronted more fascists who were planning to spread their poison.
Now seven young men and women have been fined by the courts €2500 each for their part in the action.Along with a 2 years suspended sentence.
These people, good Irish antifascists cannot be left to fend for themselves. These fines are on top of their legal fees.
Not only can we not allow fascists to organise here, we must also support those willing to put their livelihoods and liberty on the line.
