Support TeenSHARP: Invest in Brighter Futures

Hi, I'm Carla Velasquez-Zunun, a rising freshmen at Sussex Central High School. This is my first year in TeenSHARP, an organization dedicated to preparing talented low-income, Black, and Latinx students for top colleges and community-centered leadership.

My dream is to one day go to a top 20 university like New York University! This summer I’ve been doing several things to improve my chances, such as preparing for classes this upcoming school year, applying to outside of school programs, and getting mentorship from older peers and teachers at Upward Bound, a program I did this July to early August in Del Tech. However, your support is crucial in making this vision a reality.

Your donations empower TeenSHARP to continue to support low-income students like my self aiming for higher education opportunities, by encouraging us to applying to rigorous programs, guiding us through the college application process, and ensuring students have the right skills for the next step in their educational careers.
