Support TCU Medical Students Displaced by Apartment Fire
Beschermde donatie
Thank you to everyone who has donated to this fund! We are working on distributing funds to students now and encourage you to visit: TCU Burnett Emergency Support Fund for further donations.
On June 23rd, a devastating fire tore through the Cooper apartments, where 1/3 of our classmates from the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU lived. The fire and resulting water damage destroyed or severely damaged many of their homes—ruining furniture, personal belongings, and essential school materials.
As future physicians, these students already face tremendous stress and financial strain. Now, they’re also navigating sudden displacement and loss in the middle of an intense academic schedule.
We are raising funds to help our classmates replace furniture, medical supplies, clothing, and school materials so they can continue their education without additional financial burden. Every donation, big or small, will go directly to those affected to help them rebuild and recover.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Let’s rally together as a community and show them they’re not alone.
Thank you for your support.
This fundraiser is for TCU Burnett School of Medicine students from the class of 2029, 2028, 2027 and 2026 that lived in the Cooper apartment buildings. Many apartments have extreme water damage, fire damage, and are filled with smoke. We are sending out a google form to get the contact information of those affected and will be distributing funds via Venmo.
